1. Who we are
Velaniq Group ("Velaniq," "we," "us," or "our") is a brand and trade name (d/b/a) of Pleasure Programming LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Pleasure Programming LLC is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy.
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at hello@velaniqgroup.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to communicate with you and deliver our services.
- Contact information you give us. When you email us, book a discovery call, or submit a form, we receive your name, email address, company, role, and anything else you choose to share in your message.
- Client and project information. If we work together, we receive information you and your team provide so we can build and operate AI agents on your behalf — for example, sample data, system credentials, workflow documentation, and feedback.
- Technical data. Our website is hosted as a static site and does not set marketing cookies or run third-party analytics. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for security and reliability purposes.
- Communications. We retain emails, call notes, and messages you exchange with us as part of our normal business records.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or government ID information). Please do not send us such data unless we have explicitly agreed in writing to receive it.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries, schedule calls, and provide proposals;
- perform our services and contractual obligations to clients;
- operate, secure, and improve our website and infrastructure;
- send service-related communications (for example, project updates or account notices);
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on the basis of:
- Contract — to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform our services;
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our business and to communicate with prospects who have contacted us;
- Consent — where you have provided it (for example, to receive optional updates), which you can withdraw at any time;
- Legal obligation — where processing is required by applicable law.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us run our business, such as email and calendar providers, cloud hosting, source-control and project-management tools, and accounting providers. These vendors are bound by contracts and may process your data only on our instructions.
- AI and automation platforms used to deliver client work. When we build AI agents for a client, the client's data flows through the platforms agreed in the engagement (for example, the LLM provider, workflow runtime, CRM, or messaging system the client uses). We document the data flow with each client and pass through their instructions to subprocessors.
- Legal and safety reasons. When we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Velaniq, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If Velaniq or Pleasure Programming LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may be located in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other countries. When personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above. Inquiry emails are typically retained for up to 24 months from your last contact. Client engagement records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion of your personal information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete or correct it, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@velaniqgroup.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be used by our hosting provider for security and to keep the site working correctly. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access for our team and subprocessors. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Third-party links
Our site and communications may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email to active clients).
